On a recent trip to Guyana, my fiancée and I had the privilege of sitting with fellow Virgin Islander, Dr. Wenner, for dinner at the same restaurant where this picture of him in the article was taken. Whether he knew it or not at the moment, I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and experience(s) and we shared eerily similar experiences on a personal level also (not sure he knew this either). We want to thank Loán Sewer for this write up of Mr. Wenner and it was a delight to come across it as I am a huge fan of his various write ups on his personal Facebook page as well as his Caribbean Discourse page (See link below). I also want to make mention of his darling wife, Gemma Wenner who serves as a mentor to my fiancée and who has a wicked sense of humor. Together, she and her husband make a wonderful team!
