On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst, most people rate today as a 10. Thankfully, it doesnt always have to be this dreadful. Last week, the issue of tax simplification and reform was at the top of the agenda in the House Committee on Small Business. Just a week before todays deadline, I heard testimony from small business owners who spoke about the time and money lost to tax compliance. Recent studies show that many small business owners spent upwards of 80 hours just to prepare their taxes. 80 hours! I support comprehensive tax reform. Do you?
