On a serious note: I am ashamed to be friends with people who are posting statuses here about how they wish hail rain to shower on their cities like other parts of Maharashtra. But I dont even blame those creatures who are growing up in concrete jungle, who dont have a native village or they dont chose to visit it, they never interacted with farmers and their families or who never smelled soil struggle. Unexpected rain or weather change never made me think of a cup of coffee, football, long drive or romance - it made me worried! I spent 4 years of my life in a village and being a bankers son I closely witnessed the lives of the farmers - their insecurities, hopes, dreams and love towards their crops and animals. Just 5 minutes rain can brutally kill their babies (crops and animals) and make them beggars...on other side you wish for a night full of unexpected rain to enjoy a warm session on your soft comfortable bed with your partner. My heart goes out with them who recently lost their precious belonging in hail rain in many parts of Maharashtra state. I had seen similar things happening infront of my eyes and I wasnt strong enough to see them crying and losing everything. People like you who go to nearby reliance fresh or food bazar to get fresh vegetables dont see the sweat and insecurities behind THE GREEN. These farmers are special to me not because they treated me with respect more than I deserved but they taught me life and how to find happiness in small things. Now whenever I see weather change, their faces come infront of me....faces which are ready to scream and lose hope. I get disturbed and I send positive energy and prayers to protect their babies and dreams. So next time, you wish for an unexpected rain and garam pakodas...think and remember, you are asking for rain of tears in thousands of eyes. Even if it doesnt affect you personally..please note that it will affect your wallet badly, next week when you go out and buy vegies for next weeks pakodas. Please think like a HUMAN and beyond your selfish fantasies. Thank you.
