On awakening this morning, flooding my soul, the lyrics, count your blessings, name them one by one.... . Awareness strikes me what the Lord has done for me!!!! Sometimes we want Jesus Christ just for this life - as the Supplier of our needs, the Healer of our diseases, the Provider of our necessities, the Remover of our problems. We want Him to be Liberator, but not Lord, Saviour, but not Successor to the Throne, Guarator, but not Guardian. Jesus is not just,for this life. When we live as if He is, we will be most miserable. Miserable and unable to find the deep, abiding peace and joy we so desperately long for.... Peace and thanksgiving in what the Lord does for us day by day. So, Im counting all my blessings and writing them down today. Wishing all blessings from above today, may you walk in the Light of Gods Almighty Grace and Favor. I love you all.
