On behalf of Mukti, I handed over five sewing machines to Ms R - TopicsExpress

On behalf of Mukti, I handed over five sewing machines to Ms R Gurung from Maiti Nepal. On our regular visits to Maiti Nepal, my personal favourite is the training centre. You see it in action! didis and bahinis learning and training themselves - a place where they start new and re-sketch their faint self -esteem. Our hope was to add more sewing machines so more sisters can get trained and start their journey of independence. The didis at the centre are very welcoming, when you go to worship Pashupatinath, I suggest you pay a visit to worship and applaud their work determination and patience with life . Go observe how they have turned their life around, this will give you strength too. I have bought bags, hand bands for our team Mukti and for personal use too. They remind me not to give up. The pressure of traffic was intense during the SAARC summit, my wish was to make a blouse or a kurta or something with the didis. But that could not happen as we got to the centre super late!. That is still on my to-do list. I am huge fan of Anuradha mams work, the woman talks her walk and all her blouses are made by didis at training centre. I strongly encourage all my beautiful friends to add at least one item to your wardrobe from training centre. This will not just make their day an amazing one but yours too. YOU WILL FEEL GOOD! Trust me! You can follow us Mukti at this link - https://facebook/muktiteam?fref=ts I want to thank my sanu aunty Rachana for making the runs to get the machines and fupu Mita for accompanying us. And big thank you to our Mukti girls - Laxmi, Sarala, Chhimmi, Samari, Samikchha, Samiksha, Yangzi, Sushmita for without you guys we could not have done this handover. God bless!
