On behalf of my family, I sincerely thank all of you for the heartfelt expressions of condolences. So many of you have asked about the services and flowers. My mother will be buried in a private ceremony in Indianapolis this week. Also, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Imdianapolis Symphony (ISO). My mother was a classically trained vocalist and she adored the opera. But she also always commiserated about the few minorities she saw at the performances. Working with the ISO, we have established a fund in her name so underprivileged youth can attend Indianapolis Symphony performances.
