On behalf of the Coello Munoz and Buckley family, A heartfelt thank you for all the cooperation, donations, prayers and support by the entire community! Words cannot express how relieved and happy we are that all 9 young people are back safely with their families. We would like to thank specifically some people that went above and beyond to help with this search and never gave up hope. Mayor Alton and the Municipality for quick response, getting Salim in the air and communicating with the US Embassy. Troy Bodden for Embassy communications and fuel, Dave and Naomi for donating time and their boat to search beginning in the night on Sunday, The Utila Navy for search time, Utila United for donations, Kenny for providing logistics and communications throughout this ordeal, Ruggy for searching by boat the entire time, Kisty and Rebecca Engel for reporting to the US Embassy and informing the Belize Port Authorities and dive boats, Andy Lopez from COPECO for central communications and logistics in Roatan also providing rescue equipment and supplies, Lawrence Monterosso with contined support in Roatan, Miss Ester for emotional support and phone calls made and Lance Bodden, Maymie Lou and Sharmene for raising funds and paying outstanding bills. There were many other people in Roatan and the US that helped in the search- especially the US Coast Guard that ultimately found them and all rescue efforts by getting the word out, contacting the appropriate agencies, news media, offering donations and medical attention. Thanks to all! We are so grateful for a happy ending to this harrowing and gut wrenching few days.
