On behalf of the under 85s team, we would like to thank all the supporters who came along on Saturday to cheer us on to victory. It was an honour to see so many current & former Axemen and supporters on the sideline, totally outnumbering and out passion that of MSP. The victory was as much yours as it was ours. A big thanks must also go out to our team sponsor Mish Mosh where we were allowed to continue celebrating our victory till the early hours of the morning. Thank you for your support of the under 85s this season and the great night on Saturday (and the hangover). A special mention has to also go out to our number one supporter and honorary team member, Jake Wayman, who especially made the trip over from Wairarapa to help the team out in one of the most important games of the season. Thanks for all your help and support during the season; the team really appreciated having you involved. Lastly, thank you to John, Scotty, Kevin, Bridgey and Patty on your endless contribution towards the team. The extra grey hairs which you acquired over the season are not a by product that we as players, inflicted on you, but instead, it is a sign of your growing wisdom, dedication and commitment to the team and the Axemen club.
