{{On being courageous!}} A story.......Two weeks ago on Assembly, Paul Browning, Headmaster, spoke to the students about being courageous, about giving things a go, about trying something new even if you didnt think you would be good at it to start with. He spoke about following your passions and allowing yourself to be vulnerable and open to ridicule while you learnt a new skill. Well today he put that into practice. Mr Browning loves to sing and so he was disheartened in Assembly when the rendition of the National Anthem by the students was, in his mind, a bit poor. He challenged them to sing it at a certain volume (with decibel meter on hand to check) and if they did, he would sing a solo in front of them all. Mr Browning was allowing himself to be vulnerable because, in primary school, he had been dumped from the choir because he sang so badly. Enjoy!!!
