On board water storage? We originally installed 105 gallon fresh - TopicsExpress

On board water storage? We originally installed 105 gallon fresh water tanks as well 105 gallon grey water tanks in both of our proto-types. They offered a great deal of flexibility for individuals who wanted multiple options re potable water and an off-grid sewer system. There was no need for a black water tank, since we used a composting toilet. A year later we remodeled both proto-type models and removed the tanks, the composting toilets and the propane on-demand hot water heater; replacing that system with a straight water hook-up, an electric water heater and a conventional toilet. We did this with the expectation of simplifying the entire water/sewer system within the unit. We did this primarily for the purpose of putting these units in a nightly rental pool and we wanted the entire process to be more user friendly. Its not that we had issues with the previous system; however their is a bit of a learning curve involved to effectively manage that system. What are your thoughts?
