On days like this I almost dont even want to take her to speech class! She didnt want to do it I know it has to be so frustrating to have someone all in your face trying to teach you things when all you want to do is be left alone! But she eventually warmed up and went through two sessions of speech today! We have been trying to work with her more because she has regressed all over again. she has lost all words and stopped eating with a spoon (which isnt terrible because lots of kids her age prefer to finger feed) and she had developed humming when shes trying to concentrate and it just breaks my heart because she tries so hard and its just not coming easy to her! But I know she will get the hang of it! Sometimes I feel like of all the therapy its causing her to shut down because its too much I mean three days a week with therapy and thats not counting the time me and her daddy work with her has to be over whelming at times! I wish she could just enjoy life without therapy and play like all the other kids her age but I know that this will all pay off and she will eventually begin to talk! Its so difficult to see your child be so far behind compared to all the other kids her age, but were giving it our all and I know with God on our side all of this will get better! We love our baby girl with our whole hearts and we will continue to work with her!
