On days like today being a Friday I wish I could be as bold as the Uruguayan President who recently said when asked why he didnt put on a tie during his visit to the White House to see President Obama, that a tie is a useless piece of rag that constrains your neck. Jose Mujica takes only kshs 108,750 a month from his ksha 1,087,500 a month salary as president and rides a 1987 VW Beetle. The house he lives in belongs to his wife having rejected the comfort of the Presidential Palace. I think this guy is the modern day Nelson Mandela and deserves the next novel prize.
