On directions of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad conducted raids on kitchens of various Bakeries, Hotels and their go-downs to check the quality, hygiene and expiry date of food items. Two bakeries and one restaurant on the main Mansehra road were fined for poor hygiene and miserable condition of their kitchen. Apart from that, one restaurant owner and one bakery owner were arrested for using substandard food items.
