On friday we had the good fortune to be able to visit Mass Maritime Academy on the way to the Cape where the Charles W. Morgan, the last existing whaleship which had just completed a seven million dollar multi year renovation by Mystic Seaport was laying as part of its 38th voyage (and the first one since 1921) along with the USCG Barque Eagle. These are magnificent ships steeped in history and reminiscent of a bygone era. We enjoyed touring these wonderful vessels. Enjoy the pictures.
