On his return from The Hague, Uhuru Kenyatta mentioned Luos because Raila is the leader of the opposition,he mentioned Kambas(albeit dismally) because Kalonzo Musyoka is Railas deputy.He mentioned Kalenjins because William Ruto is his deputy.He didnt mention Luhyas anywhere in his myriad speeches because we have chosen to play second fiddle in everything and both the Luhya voters and leaders have lost direction and thus we arent anywhere near the national dining table.It also means,as a community we dont even ring a bell in the Presidents ears.We Luhyas are too peaceful.Looking at Makueni and Machakos County shows that even Kambas have stopped being too peaceful.Could this be an eye opener?
