On my birthday eve.... Dear Heavenly Father, As I sit here Lord, warm in my bed after an amazing time with you in church service tonight I thank you. On the eve of my last and final minutes as a 46 year old woman of God, I thank you. Thank you for another magnificent year added to my life. Thank you for the countless blessings I have received throughout the year. There are so many things and people I need to be thankful for. Thank you for my loved ones who genuinely cared about me, for their love and support during my darkest days. Thank you for my New Beginnings christian worship center family and Pastor who love me so much. Thank you for the experience of being a mom of two gorgeous young ladies and a GRANDBABY. They were my stress reliever and make me feel so alive! Thank you for keeping them safe and healthy. Thank you Lord for my goddaughter Charisse ahmed, she is truly a warrior, a daughter and encouragement in my life. I love my babies so much! Thank you Lord for my doggie snickers who truly has an angelic spirit of love and kindness for me in her own way. Thank you God for my warm and caring friends who stood by me through good and bad times and for those that have been a part of my life though they’re now miles away. Thank you for my Mom and dad who have been my constant inspiration. They never put me down. They are indeed a wonderful couple. Please give them abundance of happiness and love. Thank you God for the comfort youve given me during the depressing death of many friends and family. Thank you for giving those near to my heart direction to survive and endure the life tests. Thank you for my courageous volunteers and facebook friends; for posting their extraordinary experiences, for bravely sharing their opinions, prayers, thoughts, struggles and success. They have helped me improve my being. Thank you for giving me the chance to continue my studies at Liberty university at this late age to pursue a degree in christian counseling. Thank you for the potency to overcome the pressure of first semester. Please continue to give me strength and brain power this upcoming semester. I desire to be a great minister of God for you Lord to serve your people in a greater way. Thank you for all the new and awesome people of God you have placed in my life this year who encourage me and love me. Thank you for the challenges, frustrations, fun and triumphs that made me who I am today. Thank you God, I could never have made it all without you. Thank you for the simple yet fulfilling life… Thank you for never leaving me nor forsaking me. As I rest and pray you wake me up to face the Teresa who will be 47, I thank you in advance. Thank you Lord Jesus...AMEN!! Here we go Lord.
