On my trip to Corbett, I realized that, for Animals, Sundays are very much equivalent to our Mondays. Jim corbett National Park: . Went for safari at 5:00am in the morning and found 2 Tiger (Mother and Son) relaxing next to the road, we turned off the engine and had good sighting for at least an hour with 6 of us sitting with almost our lips sealed. Then comes 6:30am and within 15 mins the place was crowded with 20 Gypsys carrying no less than 60 people and everyone shouting and screaming and if you know even 10% of the natural behaviour, then too you could have realized the stress on the Tigers. Of course the mother decided to vanish into the Lantana Bushes but the cub (in its adolescence) who was on the other side of the road was definitely frustrated and stressed out. Some of the old Guides and Drivers although try their best to bring down the heat but in the end they too are bound by their desire to earn and live and please tourists. In the evening when our guide decided not to visit the same place as it would be filled by the tourists we went on for Birdind and believe me throughout our 3hrs safari we did not encounter a single vehicle in other part of the region and nature had returned to its normal course in other parts. Of course my wife had put on Leopard print Top which did raised suspicions and calls among some monkeys (a lesson well learnt).
