On my way back from Bangkok completed the deal for the compound. Its official the compound is ours, and hence forth will be called The Penguin Bird Sanctuary or The Penguin Sanctuary for Peace. Its great now that we have the whole place, no more hassles dealing with neighbors and their issues. We will be getting dogs, rabbits, and build a bigger aviary for the birds who need it. I feel like celebrating, but its a lot of work ahead. The third house needs a lot of renovation. The previous inhabitants were there 28 years and didnt really take care of it, only temporary measures like masking tape to repair broken windows and wood work. Its in a slum like condition, but the basic house is good old teak wood and worth the challenge!
