On my way home, along the lane behind Henry Bucks off Collins Street I hear screams as I approach the store, then I see a 6 ft tall guy had another guy about my height cornered against the wall with his helmet on, his bicycle strewn a few metres away, the tall guy threatening the short guy, who clearly had been beaten as he was bruised on his face and head, I stop yell to the tall guy to leave him alone and that I had called the cops, a woman stops I ask her if she had a mobile (I had left mine at the shop) and she said she did, I ask her to call the cops, she told she would ask the guy with the helmet if he wanted the police to be called, clearly he was in the middle of the broil and does not respond. I tell the woman to call the police, she still wouldnt so I tell her oh youre here for the cheap entertainment then a handsome man in a suit comes and I ask him to call the cops, which he does, the tall guy continues to scream abuse and threaten with more violence another guy separates them and asks the tall guy to go away, the short guy in the bicycle is obviously shaken they tell him to ride away, I tell him to wait for the police but eventually he listens to the mob standing and rides away, I hate it how people prefer to resort to violence God knows what for. I hate it how some prefer to stand and watch as if they didnt have TV or Foxtel, or as if not getting involved and watching the spectacle is the solution or an option: neither! I can only think of the Boomtown Rats... And on other news: I fought against the mirror wall all week-end, tried Windex but was bad as it would leave streaks, changed products, nothing, so bought some nail remover liquid and voila, the mirror is just gleaming, battle won.... https://youtube/watch?v=-Kobdb37Cwc
