On my way to Subway today I spotted two men standing on the street corner. They seemed to be in terrible condition. I glanced over as I drove by and one of them was holding up a cardboard sign. It was blank, nothing written on it. I thought, man, times are tough, they dont even have a pen. When I got to Subway I ordered two six inch subs, toasted Italian bread, melted provolone, with all the works. Then I thought, you know what, make a couple more, just basic baloney sandwiches. Im going to give them to a couple of homeless guys. Youre a nice guy. The sandwich artist said. I drove over, rolled down the window and handed them the sandwiches. They thanked me profusely. When I got home, I pulled up the TV tray to watch the game. I grabbed the bag and inside were two baloney sandwiches. Well...
