On my way to school I was waiting for my bus when I spotted a fee - TopicsExpress

On my way to school I was waiting for my bus when I spotted a fee men and women dressed in simple attire waiting for a bus, at least that is what I thought. Lo and behold a rickety rackety covered lorry came and all of them rushed to it. Yup, climbing it, their own little everest that they face every day to get to work. The ladies tried to go in fast and covered their faces with the handphones and folks from the bus stop were looking at them. I smiled as I was reminded of the time, when I used to manage my company and when we were hard hit, I had to run on the road with my men, for deliveries of goods as well as Food deliveries. Tough times indeed when we faced difficulties and I had to see to the rice bowl of my drivers and office staff and 8 job sites. I remember wearing my t shirt and jeans with a towel around my neck and carrying dumplings from the factories with my men and wheeling it down to shopping centre. Gawked by well dressed people and facing little hush hush gossips by my own people. Cleaning toilets, buses, marketing and closing deals, being an office cleaner, too because I had one staff who was too slow and I know she would never get a job anywhere.........................Haiz. Memories. I guess the best part was when I was dressed so shabbily and was working on a job site and was called by the officials 8 of them dressed in suits to talk about the jobs of some workers. Yup Annu in the conference room , perspiring with 8 officials from the Ministry out there to serve me LD because another company did not manage it well and I had to fill in for the Managing Director. Honestly folks , God and God alone was there for me and he gave me wisdom, that after I spoke, all 8 shook hands with me and smiled and I had no LD penalties. Tough times indeed. Yes and as I saw these people board their vehicle, I prayed for them, that they would prosper even more and their needs met. Perhaps its because I can identify with hardship and smiled and teared through it all. Tough times dont last but tough people do. And the best part is God sees us through always.
