On my way to the funeral of a loved colleague whos died of cancer. Carolyn was an amazing vicar who believed in the ministry of the laity and raised up, trained, and supported leaders in her congregations who have carried on beautifully during her sickness. Shes left a legacy of spiritual vitality and joyful celebration that her congregations will build on. She has risen in glory, but we all will miss her terribly. Her spirit will continue to be with us. Carolyn was my pal who beat me by yards in the Mardi Gras pancake race two years ago!!! She was a lot of fun.
