On my way to work this morning, two police cars had someone pulled over on the far left. People were slowing down, some trying to change lanes. Well next thing I know I hear screeching brakes, I literally spoke the words, "someone is going to get hit", to my girls and no sooner did that come out of my mouth, we heard the crash. From this point of recalling it, it seems like slow motion, but what really happen is right after we heard the crash a car came twisting in front of us. Thankfully I was already slowing, but I hit my brakes and stopped and the twisting sideways car came to a stop less than 2 feet in front of my front bumper. The young man hit his head but wasnt bleeding and he was in an obvious daze. The car that hit him was an SUV with 3 kids in it with mom driving. Everyone seemed to be ok. The policeman came right down and got the situation under control, and the cars moved so we were able to go on. It was an incredibly scarey moment. I thanked God immediately as I do again now. So glad I was paying attention and so glad the guy behind me was as well. So many different sinerios could have happened literally in a blink of an eye. Thank you God for watching over us today.
