On our way back to California we had a very productive and, quite frankly, profound meeting with pro-border security organizers in New Mexico. First of all, we cant thank the locals enough for setting up such a great meeting on such short notice. Second, we very much appreciate the honesty and debate over the issues surrounding the border and the people of Murrietas stand to keep the DHS out of their community. Through the meeting we learned that a lot of communities in America want to do something, but just dont know what they can do. So one of our goals moving forward is to help local organizers find ways to confront what is happening and help organize others to fight as well. This first part of the convoy may be over, but we were able to raise additional funds and now we want to utilize those resources to continue the fight against the invasion. Well have more on this in the coming days. Our crew is all headed home today so give us a day or two to get our footing and well begin posting updates for next steps.
