On our way out of the movie the movie this evening, a man who was sitting next to us stopped and introduced himself. We had chatted briefly before the movie so it was not weird. He asked how old Devin was and if he was starting school on Monday. Then he asked if we believed in Jesus, I responded absolutely. He then asked if we could step to the side so he could pray over Devin for the school year. I accepted. He prayed that Dev would have a good year, that he would make good decisions and stay focused on the tasks his teacher presented him. He furthermore prayed that I continue to stay strong and provide for the family and be there for Devin. It was very nice. Right there in the theater. And by the way, if you went on appearance he would have been the last person you would have expected to make that move. He looked more like a guy headed out to the club or happy hour. Thanks Al!
