On our way to work this morning, we noticed a municipal worker cutting the grass. We saw him throw down his cutter and double over in pain. Thinking he must have cut himself we turned the car around to see if we could help. He hadn’t cut himself, but was literally rolling on the ground in agony. I called the SACAN street watch number & within what seemed like an hour, but was actually only 20mins, ER24 paramedics were helping. The paramedic said it looked like he may have a ruptured appendix. I would like to thank SACAN for all they do. It is so wonderful to know that it is not always about the money. This is a man that cuts grass for a living, and thanks to SACAN, help reached him in time.
