On the 16th of September we had the opening ceremony of World Dance Sport Games. This was an amazing experience and the exposure of a variety of different cultures, we embraced. When we arrived the people of Taipei welcomed us with open arms and treated us like the finest athletes. We were welcomed with our national flag. As each country walked into the arena with their flags high. The response of the announcer saying team South Africa, we felt the love by the people. All 64 flags stood high and we felt so blessed to be chosen to represent not just our country but Africa. They had different cultural openings were they told the stories of Taipei, from the love river to the traditional dance style. It was inspirational. We are so blessed and we thank God and everyone that has always believed in us. This is a memory that shall always be cherished. Thank you. :)
