On the 27th of last month i went to the doctors for severe pain in my right side. They said i had a bad UTI and put me on antibiotics.I finished the dose and went back to the doctors because i was still in pain. They said it was also in my kidneys and put me on another antibiotic. after i had finished that dose we went back once again because i was still in pain. Now at this time they sentout a culture test and did blood work along with an ultersound on my kidneys. everything was normal. They put me on a third antibiotic. the next morning they called and said they got the culture back and i had Merca STAFF infection set up in my kidney and put me on a fourth antibiotic. the only antibiotic it would respond to. My mom and i didnt know that i had the most aggressive and resistant knd of Merca STAFF and if the antibiotic i was on didnt work, there was no plan B. Yesterday we went to the hospital because the pain was worse. They couldnt believe it so they ran tests and sad the medicineas actully working but my body ws just responding to the amount of damage it had just taken. The infection is now getting treated and is finally disapearing
