On the 2nd of October (Last Thursday) Legacy House completed 1000 hours community services challenge. We completed 1005 hours in 12 weeks & 4 days. Doing this has launched the community solutions and social services arm of our church and will be running all our programmes every month or fortnightly. The hours were completed through the following: - Total of 150 food boxes delivered over 6 fortnights (Database of 40 families receiving our feeding programme - Over 300 kilos of fruit and vegetables - Serviced the yards of 4 homes - Serviced 30 long term unemployed job seekers and placed 7 into employment - Provided 60 homeless care kits to the homeless - 1 Outreach in community giving away free clothes, fruit and BBQ The whole initiative was financed through generous contributors from within the church and ALL fully financed from the church.
