On the 4th day of #Bookmas, I offer unto you: Pandemic by Scott Sigler. Im the crime fiction guy, but Ive read across most genres all my life, and dabbled at writing in many as well. When I was getting into writing (again) it was because of podcast novelist like Scott Sigler, James Melzer and Seth Harwood. (The latter my gateway to the crime fiction community) Sigler was definitely a frontrunner in podcast badassdom and the first to get get called up to the Bigs. He successfully juggles between self-publishiing, podcasting and doing his thing to be listed as a NYTimes Best Seller. Pandemic is the final act in the Infected series, a sci-fi thriller of epic proportions. One part Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and one part Stargate, and all Scott Sigler crazy, I was really curious how he would continue the series after Contagious (Book 2). It was pretty near perfect even without Scary Perry. You kind of need to read Infected and Contagious first, but its all good Sigler. And if you want a fun time, listen to some of his podcasts.
