On the 5th of November, in Armenian capital Erevan, political and civil activist and leader of revolution for the values, Shant Harutyunyan and other activists were ready for the Million Mask March organized worldwide by Anonymous. Few minutes before the March’s starts there was a provocation to compromise and impeach the announced peaceful march. Few minutes before the beginning of the March , Shant Harutyunyan, who noticed that there are some suspect individuals trying to make a provocation, prevent the participants and the police to be careful of provocations, so there will be no conflict. The police did not act, even after this notification to try to prevent any provocation. Instead, they waited the provocation to start to immediately arrest Shant Harutyunyan among with his 14 years old son and 40 other March participants, activists and citizens. Even with the clear evidence of the provocateur’s identity, none of them was arrested, which makes believe that that was organized among with the police! Shant Harutyunyan is a political dissident and have been jailed already last time in 2008, afther the blody presidetal ellections, when 10 people were killed by the order of russian special forces in the streets and Shant was jaild, becasue he were there, when all politics left the people and runaway, and Shant Harutyunyan be risking his own life were trying to help people to find secure places, but they arrested him for his political views, which are against of the Russian occupation and corrupted government of Armenia, like did his father, well known Soviet dissident Shahen Harytyunyan. Some of arrested people have been released, but there are still 14 people in prison with no information about where they are and of their situation. All visits, for the family members, attorneys or politicians are refused. Shant Harutyunyan has been moved to KGB’s jail on 9th of November and none have seen him since and have no information. Even with the implication of a deputy, who tried to visit the arrested people, police refused him the visit. We are very afraid that they can be killed or poisoned, as there is absolutely no news of them, all visits are forbidden and there’s no evidence of their existence anymore!! The government officials are not talking about this and the media in Armenia is completely controlled by officials, so there is no trustful information. We know nothing about Shant Harutyuan’s and the other arrested persons life condition or health. Armenia is losing independence under the pressure of Russia and anyone who stands against it, is immediately jailed and reduced to silence. PLEASE make some statement; please react before they’ll be killed like many others before! Only the international community can make a difference! We count on you, please! Many of those persons have families, children who are without any news of their fathers, husbands and brothers! The reason why these people have been arrested is that they cannot accept anymore the humiliation and demoralization of our country. Shant Harutyunyan and his fellow friends stand for the liberty and the truth for 25 years now! He’s one of rare persons in Armenia who still believes that we can survive and who’s fearless enough to stand against Russian occupational regime! PLEASE HELP to get out of jail Shant Harutyunyan and other 14 arrested people, the last men in Armenia standing for the true human values! They need your help. Names of other 13 arrested: Avet Avetisyan, Liparit Petrosyan, Armen Hovhannisyan, Vardan Vardanyan, Misak Arakelyan, Albert Margaryan, Anushavan Grigoryan, Mkrtich Hovhannisyan, Vahe Mkrtchyan, Hayk, Tigran Petrosyan, Alex Pogosyan, Sevak Mnatsaknyan. The corruted and govermet contorled media trying to make form Shant Harutyunyan as an act of crazy men, by humiliating his name in media for the people that still have values and believes in changes. Today 2011.11.11 he was moved to jail of policemen, state officials and war criminals according to newspapers and there is BIG DNAGER THAT HE CAN BE KILLD!!!
