On the 6th of December, President John Cunliffe hosted the annual Presidents Christmas Party. It was an evening of good food and fellowship which was enjoyed by all of those present. The event was held in the hall of Childline and was a chance for our club to support this worthwhile charity by paying the organization a fee for the use of their facilities. The guests were asked to supply a gift for a boy and for a girl to be presented to disadvantaged children or children in hospital. Club members were encouraged to donate the cash that they would have spent to allow the club to purchase suitable gifts from BSPCA and thus the money would support an additional worthy cause.
