On the 7th of March 2014 I was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer. Ive had 3 surgeries 5 ct scans and 180+ hours of chemotherapy. Today at 12:45 my oncologist declared me cancer free and in remission. Over the past 8 months we have been guided by a great medical team of specialists seeking the best possible outcome for my health. My family has been blessed so many times during this ordeal with love and support from friends near and far. We have been the beneficiaries of many acts of kindness and service. We had many friends and family fly to Gold Coast to stay with us and look after me. Indeed, My oldest friend flew half way around the world leaving her own family for three weeks to care for me and my family. Meals, lovingly prepared were delivered to my home for weeks. My children were fed, clothed, loved and transported around the Gold Coast by our wonderful friends. To each and everyone one of you who helped support us, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are truly blessed. We will be forever grateful for the many kindnesses we have been shown❤️. Ps. Go get a colonoscopy. It just might save your life.
