On the Feast Day of Christ the King tomorrow, the Postulants of the Community of the Good Samaritan based at Christ the King in Onekwaya West, Namibia, will be saying their first Profession. The 3 postulants have been living in Community for the past 7 seven years under the guidance and direction of Sr. Gertrude Moseneke, discerning their vocation while the Diocese was in the process setting up its first Community. The Community of the Good Samaritan have received a HOPE Award for their sterling work with Joy to the World Kindergarten two years ago. Sisters and Brothers from various Communities have travelled far and wide to support and celebrate with the Community of the Good Samaritan.
