On the On 16th May 2014 Prime Minister of India Hon Narendra Modi - TopicsExpress

On the On 16th May 2014 Prime Minister of India Hon Narendra Modi was sworn into office. Narendra Modi stated in one of his speeches Let us together dream of a strong, developed and inclusive India that actively engages with the global community to strengthen the cause of world peace and development. While wildlife poaching is to a degree being taken seriously we are losing both our species of Rhino and Tiger. If we lose the Tiger Africas Lions will be placed furthermore in danger as poachers are killing them for fake Tiger bone wine and parts. We call on all to please hand write a letter to the Hon Narendra Modi politely asking him to now look into the following issues and address them accordingly. 1. Anti Poaching Units to be increased in size around Tiger and Rhino reserves with better pay and rewards for rangers. 2. Increased reward scheme that will encourage more rangers to shoot to kill. At this moment in time rangers are only offered a relatively small reward for locating and shooting dead poachers. 3. Rangers are to be better equipped with up to date technology and weaponry to defend themselves, our wildlife and to catch poachers before they strike. International Animal Rescue Foundation India believes the following three points highlighted are reasonable and should be agreed on by his excellency and constituents. Should the Prime Minster not agree to these very simple and reasonable points well continue to see more Rhino poached and the extinction of our Tigers.
