On the authority of Zaid Ibn Thabit Al-Ansari that: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say, ‘How blessed is Al-Sham! How blessed is Al-Sham!’ “And how is that, Oh Messenger of Allah?” People asked him. ‘Those angels of Allah have spread their wings over Al-Sham’, he answered.’ ‘The Prophets built Bait Al-Maqdis (Al Quds),’ Ibn Abbas added. ‘And the Prophets lived in it, and there is not an inch in Bait Al-Maqdis where a Prophet has not prayed or an Angel has not stood.’ [Tirmidhi] Masjid al Aqsa is dear to all Muslims. It was the first Holy site in Islam, a place where our beloved Messenger (saw) and the tabi3een used to face to pray to Allah swt 5 times a day before the direction was changed. Masjid al Aqsa is the place that was visited by our beloved Messenger (saw) on the blessed night of Al-Isra wal-Miraaj and it is the place where the final battle of Haqq and Baatil will commence when Isa ibn Maryam (as) will descend from the Heavens to fight the anti-christ when the end is nigh. This blessed site is dear to the Muslims for a number of reasons so surely it should be preserved and protected as we would protect the Ka3ba or Masjid an-Nabawi if it were under attack? So how are the Muslims (or Muslim leaders rather) responding to a latent threat of occupation of this blessed site from the terrorist state of Israel? The response of the Arab foreign ministers to the crimes of the occupation after their assembly in Cairo was humiliating and degrading. They agreed to resort to calling for the United Nations General Assembly and UNESCO to put the actions of Israel on the table for inquisition. So our dear leaders once again show their true colors. The crocodile tears that are shed by the Palestinian Authority and the sheepish regimes cannot erase their crimes... it is they who placed the issue of Palestine in the hands of the enemies of the Ummah. Not only have they given away, piece by piece, the scared land of Al-Sham but they are now happy to negotiate with the enemies of Allah the division of the first Ka3ba in Islam?!?! How would the Ummah react if a part of the Haram in Makkah was given to the Americans as a base to carry out their anti terror program in the Middle East?? Would we simply hate it in our hearts or actively speak out against this atrocity?? Or better yet would we physically try to remove such kufr from a place that we hold so dear in our hearts?? Why then are the so called representatives of this Ummah so readily accepting this very same atrocity in Masjid al-Alqsa?? How would our beloved Messenger (Saw), Abu Bakr as Siddique, Umar ibn al Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, Ali ibn Abi Talib or Salahudeen al-Ayubbi (may Allah be pleased with them) react in such a situation??! The Khalifs of this Ummah understood the hefty title and reward that came along with the conquering of al-Sham, they fought to defend it with every fibre of their being but today our leaders are more concerned with their hefty pay check and title in this Dunya as opposed to their station in the Heavens and in the sight of Allah swt! We work for the day when Allah swt gives victory to the Believers and allows us to appoint a just Ruler over the Muslims, one that will look after the affairs of the Ummah using only the Laws of Allah swt, one that will liberate every square inch of the Muslim lands and free them from the tyranny of kufr. We leave you with a quote from a Giant amongst the Ummah of Muhammad (saw), a true role model for our youth, Salahudeen al Ayoubi... The Muslims...are weakened and demoralized; they have become negligent and lazy, the victims of unproductive stupefaction and completely lacking in enthusiasm. If, Allah forbid, Islam should draw reign, obscure her splendor, blunt her sword there would be no one, east or west, far or near who would blaze the zeal for Allahs religion, or choose to come to the aid of Truth against Falsehood. This is the moment to cast off laziness, to summon from far and near all those men who have blood in their veins; but we are confident; thanks to Allah- alhamdulillah- in the help that will come from Him and entrust ourselves to Him in sincerity of purpose and deepest devotion. InshaAllah, InshaAllah the disbelievers shall perish and the Faithful have a sure deliverance. Ameen Ya Rabb
