On the award given to Gen. Abacha during d centenery celebration, Though as a former leader he deserved it but bcos he came in tru unconstitutional means, he and his fellow colleagues like IBB etc doesnt derserve those awards! Abacha was worse, he was brutal,kleptomaniac,deadly and almost turn nigeria to a nazi country. I remembered as a young boy, to even mentioned his name was 4biden in our homes and schools! I was an undergraduate then, I remembered how we were sent home 4 more dan 6months. We went to plead and signed undertaking with #300 repairation fees b4 we were allowed to resume. I remembered a student leader then in OSUA(ondo state university ado ekiti then) who was beaten blue black until he lost a leg by d military boys. I remembered d death of Kudirat Abiola, pa ruwane, etc, attempted assassination of pa adesanya,alex ibru, etc, I remember the escapees like Tinubu,soyinka,late achebe etc, the list goes on!! When Abacha died, there was wide jubilation tru out nigeria as if hitler was dead! If our president had suffered just a pint of iya from abacha days he wouldnt have offered him any award! Am I right?
