On the eve of Lilys 3rd cycle chemo end and trip to MD, packing - TopicsExpress

On the eve of Lilys 3rd cycle chemo end and trip to MD, packing and the big MRI week that will tie up most of our uncertain question ends, I find myself uncommonly calm and content. Not only was Born to Run 5k and Cindi Eckrote and her family amazing and gracious, I cant thank them enough or all of you who not only represented #teamlilylarue here in Wayne, but also at Curefest DC walk. Zak sisters and DC Farty crew- see you soon! Thank you for proper representation on the Hill today. Dyana , I cant thank you and all the cheer ladies enough for making this happen- theres no way this was an easy feat. I saw beautiful waves of pink bracelet and pink bows!! The sunflower pins and Lilys bows were *perfect* and sweet - like our Lily. Linda Jane- thank you for being my person. Xo There was a one single moment before the race started, where a quick and perfect calm came across the crowd and it just took my breathe away. Did you *feel* that?? I will treasure that blessed feeling forever. Im glad I had sunglasses on ;) I received some of the best hugs ever; met new friends and hooked up with old friends. To my ladies- thank you for keeping close with your cheer girls and your support and positive energy. KathleenWe Cheer for Lily was the best not just fashion statement EVER. You always say the right things at the most perfect times and I dont think you even know it. Love you. So as I pack haphazardly, I bring with me all your good intentions from today. I will think of today when things in building #10 get intense or I feel Im a little too close to an unsettling moment of fear and the unknown. Oh- and thank you to all the moms who tied Bradys shoes along the way. It was his first 5k- he totally still thinks he won ;). We all did,no?
