On the left is a montage of pictures of Zanta when he came into our care in May. He was dying - he was emaciated, had severe anal furunculosis, had a huge blockage that caused mega colon and had pancreatitis. On the right is a montage of pictures of Zanta at the Pet Barn conference to tell his story and show that how a simple dietary change saved his life. Who would have thought that are darling Zanta would meet the wonderful Dr B the creator of the food which saved his life? Here we have a dog that a few short months ago was in the pound, in a great deal of discomfort and who had completely shut down due to being let down by people. And yet in just a few short months - our darling boy is so social and just adores people. Everyone commented on how well behaved he was - each morning he was very eager to go into the exhibitors area as he loved meeting everyone. Some of the exhibitors knew his story and popped over to say hello. He was very spoilt and loved the treats at the Daily Bark stand - manufactured here in Qld, he got a lovely collar off Ezy Dog and we have to admit were so very impressed by the quality of their products, he got a new toy off the lovely people at the Purina Pet Care Stand, he met the people at the Rose-Hip Vital Canine Stand and of course he was the star at the Dr Bs BARF stand - a shining example of why it is such a wonderful product. We are so very proud of our boy who is still looking for his permanent forever home. We will continue to pay all his vet bills - but he deserves a very special and loving family of his very own ideally here in Brisbane. Zanta does not like cats and is best as an only dog as he has suffered years of neglect and so likes to be the focus of your attention. He is loyal, he will be devoted to you, he is highly intelligent and he is one of the most special dogs we have ever had in our rescue.
