On the process of doing series of talk program, Katha ra Byatha on entrepreneurship at Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) Nepal, we are also pleased to let you know that Mr. James Nyachhyon, Managing Director, Cybernetics has kindly consented to be the Guest of Speaker at this event. The Katha ra Byatha Innopreneur ko is a monthly series of discussion forum organized by Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal and Living with ICT Magazine on topical subjects focused on innovative entrepreneurs (in our words Innoproneurs) in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and development with the perspective of Nepal. Each monthly discussion will showcase a successful entrepreneur in the tech sector of Nepal. The format of the discussion is that an entrepreneur would present the theme of the discussion in the form of a presentation, normally for about 20-30 minutes and a panel of expert commentators would comment on the presentation given. And lastly the floor would be open for comments, questions and clarifications from the audience. The purpose of these series of discussions are to ensure that the lives of these stories of the struggle, hardships and successes and failures of entrepreneurs with a focus on technology in respect to the local market. All the discussions will be around the areas of entrepreneurship and ICT & development in Nepalese perspective. These series are planned for one per month and depending upon the experts’ available time, the schedule would be quite flexible. The outcome of the discussions is also expected to be featured in ‘Living with ICT’ magazine & streamed live online and hence is expected to be recorded and may be even video graphed. It would also be blogged and twitted extensively by the participants and the video would be made available in YouTube and other social media. The objective of organizing these series of ‘Katha ra Byatha Innopreneur ko’ is to ensure a wealth can also be created locally and to inspire the youth to be entrepreneurs and to start their own startups, and if required a public debate of all the stakeholder concerned in topical events to ensure that the required advocacy for policy changes are done from the efforts and policy practitioners. New and emerging technologies will also be presented as to how these entrepreneurs are using it in the context of their start-up and that one could be wealthy through innovation and the usage of ICT.
