On the subway commute home I watched a hot hippie guy flirt with a beautifully dressed girl with long dark curly hair. Her evil eye bracelet was the conversation starter. They smiled and chatted for a long time. He mentioned being Jewish, and it turns out she is Palestinian American, but they are both into Buddhism. They started talking conflict, and things got awkward for a moment, and then he had to get off the train. It was like a hipster Romeo and Juliet!
