On the way home from my parents tonight a red Mazda Miata pulled out of a resturant parking lot into a suicide lane on powell... and continued driving in the suicide lane till it ended then got over into the real lane 3 blocks up the road. I initially brushed it off until I saw the car crossing the lines which reassured me it was what I thought it was. The light was red on 162nd where I turn north to get home so I pulled into the turn lane (south) to get the license plate and call the police. When I saw it was an older lady with her window down I put my window down and asked her if she should be driving right now. If I got a "Im good, no worries I was just spacing out" or something, it may have been irritating but that would have been the end of it... she responded with "oh, why?... (I tell her) Im sorry".... So we continued on to about 148th and division so I could inform the police of where she was and the direction she was headed. Driving drunk is bad and there is not many words to describe someone that carelessly does this, let alone worse words to describe someone who does it when the roads are filled with kids and families.
