On this 3rd anniversary I thank God we have our family, but the utter devastation this fire caused our family still continues with NO RESOLUTION!! How anyone could deny the damage caused by heat & smoke when this fire ravaged, taking many of my neighbors homes with it. To have it unsafe to occupy by OSHA standards 2 years later. To have coverage year after year and pay pay pay and be TOLD not to worry, we had plenty of coverage and watch helplessly while every sneaky trick is pulled just to avoid paying our claim. Watching it hurt my family physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and and uproot and separate us but worse of all is seeing the toll it continues to take on my boys. Please keep us in your prayers as we carry the financial burdens of 2 households and more until our home is suitable to live in again. I am grateful that we still have many of our memories, pictures and keepsakes when so may dont, but with everything we are enduring we truly need Gods intervention for closure. Sorry for the rant but if you knew the whole story you would understand. Thanks Mizzy for allowing me to share your pictures. We are still raw...they still bring tears as my youngest says those 2 days were the beginning of the end of our lives as we knew it. Nothing has ever been the same. : (
