On this date one year ago, my life was blindsided unexpectedly, heart shattering, game changing turned upside down. This last 12 months has been treacherous and hard with more life changing decisions but music has helped me grieve, express my feelings when there was no one there, pick me up when I couldnt breathe, and pushed me forward when I couldnt take another step. I know I am not healed but I can now breathe, walk forward and laugh a little more each day. Thank you to my family and friends for holding me together when I thought the tears were dry only to feel them flow again. Thank you musicians for your amazing ability to put my heart and feelings into beautiful lyrics and melodies so I can cry, scream, laugh and simply smile that someone gets it. Sunshine
