On this day, 22 years ago, my life was set on a new path. I was brought home by a loving couple who had waited many years for their chance to be parents. They brought me home a broken, fragile little child, and they took care of me and raised me into the person I am today. Everything good in me is because of them and everything bad in me, I want to fix to make them proud of me. No matter where I go or what I do, they will always be my family, and I will love them beyond words. Happy Adoption Day, Ciro and Cindy, or as I call you, Dad and Mom.
