On this day 6 years ago I was unpacking my house in a hurry, not due for a month but I had no idea everything I was doing was helping the contractions. Wish I would have had a mW to tell me go rest, soak in some Epsom and drink tons of water! Instead I had been on my feet 12 hours going crazy unpacking, eating fast food and living on mountain dew. Evan was born a little after midnight. It was my scariest birth since he was 4 weeks early, 3 rd csection and the beginning of the craziest year to date! Evan was in Nicu/ picu for 22 days total and heart monitor for 8 months with meds to keep his heart rate up enough... looking back I was so ridiculous to just trust the Dr. I was only having braxton hicks. Only because I was exhausted but instead they rushed me and should have said rest! So glad for all my family who came Im to keep me sane. At that time I was one crazy basket case!
