On this day in 1776 the Declaration of Independence was adopted. Over the last 238 years many lives have been lost fighting for these freedoms. Some people are confused and think this freedom entitles them to a good life. They seem to feel the government owes them this right. Freedom gives us the right to be our own person and to find purpose for our life. Our freedoms dont come without possible drawbacks. Our freedoms give us the opportunity to succeed in life, but it also gives us the possibility of failure. Freedom is impossible without responsibilities. If we dont take the responsibility of living an honest life our freedoms can be taken away from us. Be thankful for the freedoms that we do have, but remember these freedoms come with a price. Take them serious and your life will be filled with the possibilities to achieve your dreams. God Bless and have a Happy 4th!!!!
