On this day in . . . 1974 It was one of those rare opportunities to see a too-short-lived band, Capability Brown, at one of my favourite venues, the too-short-lived Marquee. Support came from a band called Greep - not the name of a band that was ever destined to be anything, I suspect, other than short-lived. Another fairly short-lived entity was in the audience; his name was Phil Lynott. Ticket: 45p.
