On this day in 1998, a small boy changed my entire life by taking his first breath. Holding him in my arms at the young age of 23 was like holding the entire universe. The love I felt, was like nothing ive ever known and could have moved mountains. By simply existing, HE drove me to be a better person, made me want to make the world and my community a better place, and filled my life with joy. Thank you, Jacob Volk, for being such an amazing son, and happy birthday. I love you more than you could ever know.
