On this day of Thanksgiving lets remember those less fortunate than we are. As you get dressed this morning and think as you look into a closet stuffed with clothes, I have nothing to wear! Remember there are people in our area with only the clothes on their backs. As you shower, brush your hair, put on deodorant and brush your teeth remember there are people in our area that cant even afford the basics. As you put on that warm coat to head out to see family and friends remember there are people in our area who have no coats or who are sleeping outside with only a cardboard box or newspaper for cover. Year round there is need, but especially in the cold months. Toiletries, coats, gloves, toboggans, socks etc are in great need. Plus food to be taken to the shelters because of incresed numbers needing a warm place to stay. PLEASE as you enjoy all the joy and wonderment of the season, give back and show how truly thankful you are fit all that you have been blessed with.
